Mother and Daughter agree! - We have both read all of this series of books. We loved them. This was our first christian romance books and over ten years later we are still hooked. We enjoy several different authors now. We are now going to re-read the stories of Marty. They are great story lines that get you involed in these peoples lives, you can t wait to read the next book. A GREAT ROMANCE - I thought this book was outstanding! It tells of how hard things really were in the west. It also shows that even after a great srrow life can go on.
This is the second half of a fantastic set of books! - The continuing story of the family of Clark and Marty is just as interesting as the first books were. Each book seems to target a special family or location within the extended family structure. This is a must read for Christian fiction! Recommended highly for children through adult level. You will not be disappointed!
The first half of an incredible set of books! - Clark and Marty meet in book one and continue their remarkable journey as a blended family through each book. They are well written, Christian, wholesome and terribly exciting to read. If I could buy only one set of Christian fiction for children and teens this would be it. The second half of this series is just as good! You will NOT be disappointed!
A totally excellent read - The book is excellent and the beginning of a wonderful series. I was given this book by a friend and realised that there was a complete series and was totally hooked on the books. The storyline is wonderful and shows God in action in the everyday lives of the characters. The events and situations the characters find themselves in and the way God works in their lives was a real challenge to me. Would recommend other titles by Janette Oke too - a wonderful lady.
